Kaua'i Community College Cognition Learning Center (Cogs) is a place where college students, faculty and staff can voluntarily invest their time and skills to bring innovative ideas to life. Cogs promotes individual creativity by empowering students led projects. Past projects include electric vehicle conversions, educating through virtual reality and the construction of hands on, thought provoking exhibits. With the CogsGo mobile unit (Cognition bus), Cogs is able to reach out to the community and provide STEM education for students in grades K-12. The Cogs mission is to inspire and encourage inquiry, exploration, and hands on learning to excite students of all ages.
