Hoʻolei Scholarship

Free First Year Tuition for All Kaua‘i Island High School Seniors

For public and charter school students who enter Kauaʻi CC directly after their senior year

Graduating from high school and not sure how to pay for college? We’ve got you.

Financial aid and FAFSA can cover the cost of tuition for most college students. But for those who still have some left to pay, the Hoʻolei Scholarship will cover the remaining tuition costs for the first year for all seniors entering Kaua‘i Community College directly from a Kaua‘i public or charter school (after financial aid awards are applied). Not to mention, Hoʻolei Scholarship recipients get access to paid jobs on campus.

Who is eligible?

All public and charter school students who enter Kauaʻi CC directly after their senior year.

How do I apply?

There’s no application. Just apply to Kaua’i Community College and complete the 2026-27 FASFA. That’s it!
