Title III Grant

Kelekaʻa Hoʻonaʻauao

A collaborative grant between University of Hawaii West Oahu and Kauaʻi Community College with the intent to serve Native Hawaiians, allowing Kauaʻi residents to stay on island and earn a bachelor’s degree completely online (in certain areas) with clear articulation agreements and local support. This grant supports these degree areas: Business, Humanities with a focus in Hawaiian Pacific Studies, and Secondary Teaching- English. There are also plans in place to transform part of Kauaʻi Community College’s Learning Resource Center into a distance education space for students.
