Kauaʻi Community College (Kauaʻi CC) seeks a collaborative, creative, dynamic, and student-centered leader to serve as Chancellor. Established in 1965 as a Community College, Kauaʻi CC is the only institution of higher education on the island. The College primarily serves residents from the islands of Kauaʻi and Niʻihau, with a special commitment to Native Hawaiians. The Chancellor will ensure Kauaʻi CC provides students with continued excellence in liberal arts education, career and technical programs, and non-credit opportunities in a supportive and challenging environment.

The Chancellor fosters an environment that promotes trust and transparency through effective communication, and with a strong commitment to shared governance with the College’s diverse faculty, staff, and students. The Chancellor is responsible for establishing the College's long-term institutional goals and ensuring that the College serves the needs of its diverse student population and the community. The Chancellor serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Kauaʻi CC, and is responsible for the overall administration, leadership, and management of the College. The Chancellor represents the University of Hawai'i (UH) and acts on behalf of Kauaʻi CC within the community. The Chancellor also serves as the College liaison officer to the UH President, President's staff, Board of Regents, and State Legislature under the direction of the Vice President for Community Colleges.
