Aloha KCC ʻOhana,

Mahalo to all of you for your continued efforts to support our students, our community and each other.

We continue to work together to prepare for the fall semester. I want to express my thanks to the “Comeback Committee” for their thoughtful deliberation, participation and contribution to the development of our campus’ plan to return for the fall semester.

Many of our high school graduating seniors have had their college plans disrupted by the COVID-19 crisis and were unable to connect with Kauaʻi Community College during their senior year.

The Hawai'i Community Foundation, Kaua`i Community College, and the University of Hawai'i System are offering a new program to help our recent grads called “Next Steps to Your future.”
Kauaʻi CC is offering free online summer courses. Students receive college credit and get a headstart in their education and career.

Aloha members of our Kaua'i CC ‘ohana,

Please let me share my gratitude to each of our faculty and staff for a successful conclusion to this very challenging semester. Many unexpected events converged in a perfect storm to up-end life as we have known it.

This community of learners, faculty, staff and students has each felt the effects of this pandemic in very personal ways, and have met these challenges with a willingness to adapt to circumstances beyond our control.
