Kaua'i Sea Farm is located in Kālaheo at the Nomilo Fishpond. Internship duties include sea cucumber collection/weighing/sampling, sorting oysters, weighing fish/limu, and more. This opportunity gives students a chance to learn both traditional and modern practices when maintaining a Hawaiian fishpond. Iwikua, located in Waimea. Iwikua is a non-profit that utilizes ancestral knowledge, traditional farming methods, and modern-day aquaponic farming techniques to sustainably produce food on-island. Summer 2022 Political Internship
The UH Mānoa Political Internship program will offer full-time internships in political offices statewide for the Summer 2022 session. Undergraduate juniors, seniors, and graduate students of all majors with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA are eligible to apply. Interns will receive an achievement scholarship to cover the 9 credits of required political science coursework. Four positions are available on Oʻahu, and four positions are available on the neighboring islands (Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi, and Maui).
